FAQs
How do I become a NIOMI HCP partner?
To become a partner, you need to register by filling out the registration form, which you can find on the homepage. Then, you will wait for our Client Success Manager to contact you.
Why should I chose a kit with multiple vials?
The advantage of purchasing a kit with either two or three samples/tests is that you have the opportunity to conduct a short-term intervention program with your client, testing their gut microbiome before, possibly during, and after one or more targeted health measures within 4–5 weeks.
Please note that all samples must be sent back together and analysed simultaneously!
This way, both you and your client gain a quantitative analysis tool, in addition to the client’s own qualitative observations, to determine whether the implemented health measures have been effective or if the client’s action plan needs adjustment.
Can clients of all ages be tested?
Yes, NIOMI can be used for clients of all ages, including infants. However, the database for children under 3 years old is still being developed. The more children under 3 that are tested, the more data is generated for everyone’s benefit in the long run.
Therefore, we always recommend choosing NIOMI + consultation, as the health assessment in the app alone provides only a partial insight into the child’s gut microbiome.
In which situations is NIOMI most relevant for my clients?
The short answer is: always! NIOMI, as a tool, is always beneficial for your client, as it provides a solid foundation for their future action plan. It enables the creation of a 100% tailored and customized health strategy.
In cases where a client struggles with particularly severe and complex health issues, NIOMI is especially relevant. It can help identify the root cause of the client’s health condition and provide insights into the best direction for treatment adjustments to ensure improvement.
How can I best ensure that the client has received the necessary introduction to handling and using the test?
NIOMI has been designed to be as user-friendly as possible. When the client receives their test kit, instructions for handling, usage, and return are clearly outlined in the box.
As a practitioner, you should ensure that your client understands the following steps:
1. The NIOMI app must be installed.
2. The license must be added to the app.
3. The anamnesis (health questionnaire) must be completed before the test is sent back to the laboratory.
4. The client will receive their results in the app once they are ready and can then contact you to schedule a follow-up consultation, where you will review the results from the full report with them.
As a healthcare practitioner, it is your responsibility to provide your client with the necessary knowledge about handling and using NIOMI if they have any doubts.
If you are unsure about the process yourself, please send an email to niomi@metaceutic.com, and you will be contacted as soon as possible for a thorough walkthrough to ensure you are well-prepared to guide your client.
What should I do once the client receives their test results in the NIOMI app?
You will receive a notification in your inbox when your client’s test results and report are available in the partner portal.
If you are a new partner, you can book a free review session of your client’s report through the partner portal. Together with your Client Success Manager, you will receive guidance and support on how to best use the data in the report to provide your client with valuable feedback and develop a targeted action plan.
Once you have analyzed the test results, reach out to your client (if they haven’t contacted you yet) so they can schedule a follow-up consultation with you for a detailed review of their results and a personalised health plan moving forward.
My client is taking/has taken antibiotics. When can the test be taken?
We recommend that the client takes the NIOMI test 3–4 weeks after completing their antibiotic treatment.
